Tip of the Week: Finding Support
Recently, I saw a tip from Dr. Oz that said, “Research has consistently shown that people succeed at major transformation when they have the support of a group or community working together. It’s even better to find a friend or loved one to do it with you!”
If you are trying to make family meals a new tradition in your house — tell people! Share with friends, family and co-workers. Ask for advice and ideas. Write family meal times on your calendar so everyone in your home knows when to expect them. If your children know you are committed to having the family together for meals – they will hold you to it!
